The summer People’s Market kicked off last Wednesday at the Center for the Arts Park. Despite the rain the energy was high as patrons came out to celebrate the first market of the season.
This weekly gathering brings local farmers, ranchers, food producers, artisans and community together in celebration of Slow Food’s mission to promote good, clean and fair food. In 2022, the People’s Market supported 120 local and regional farm, ranch, and packaged food vendors, welcomed over 15,000 attendees, and facilitated $448,000 in direct-to-consumer sales.
