There are so many stresses in life: planning a wedding, producing a magazine, figuring out where you are going to watch Hill Climb this weekend, and family coming into town for Easter. While at Dishing we work hard to keep our bodies healthy, sometimes we forget to level our mind and make sure that we are taking care of our mind and soul too. I recently got together with Stevie Duran, owner of Bliss Bodywork, and not only did she work on the many knots in my shoulder, but also helped me reconnect my body, mind, and soul.
Duran is skilled in energy work as well as body work and is currently working on many new aspects of her business. Right now, Bliss Bodywork is running a giveaway for an HRT session with Duran. HRT stands for high self resonance therapy and is an energy work modality that affects all of your energetic bodies and your physical being. As Duran explains it, think Reiki on steroids. It can be a powerful way to release beliefs, emotions, blockages, and stress and allow for your mind and soul to heal on the deepest levels. When having an HRT session your goal is to come into balance with yourself, feel rejuvenated, and be able to experience inner peace and bliss. There are multiple different packages available varying from a massage only package to the ultimate package. The ultimate package includes a consultation and walk through with the bride of hair, makeup, eyebrows, massage, and day of lashes. Brides can travel to Bliss Bodywork or they can be done on site.
