DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exclusive tasting tour with Monica Samuels\, a Sake Sommelier from Vine Connections. Monica will be present to educate on both pasteurized and non-pasteurized versions of each sake\, giving guests the opportunity to experience the allure of Nama\, or seasonal\, sake\, which is only available for short periods of time throughout the year. \nChef Chris Massed will also prepare a 16 course omakase menu to accompany the sake selections.  This menu will be an exclusive look at the evolution of the premium offerings soon to come at Kampai. \nMonica is a Wine and Spirts Education Trust level 3 sake educator\, an International Wine Challenge panel chair\, a TEXSOM judge\, and a certified Advanced Sake Professional. She was named one of Wine Enthusiast’s 40 under 40 in 2014\, a Sake Samurai in 2017\, and one of the International Wine & Spirit Competition’s Future 50 in 2019. \nThis event is very limited; we have roughly 50 seats total. The cost will cover a 16 course omakase for $195 and a 7 course namazake beverage pairing for an additional $100.
