Snake River Roasting Co.’s Little Red Coffee Trailer Hits the Road

Local specialty coffee roasting company Snake River Roasting Co. is taking its exceptional coffee on the road this summer and fall with its new coffee trailer, affectionately named “Little Red.” This mobile coffee cart makes appearances at community events, bringing the spirit of adventure and high-quality coffee to locals and visitors alike.

A Summer of Coffee Adventures

The journey for Little Red started on June 17, when the refurbished trailer made its debut at the Outdoor Retailer Summer show in Salt Lake City. Following this successful launch, the coffee trailer’s first local appearance was at the Jackson Hole Food & Wine Summer Fest. Ever since, the response from coffee consumers has been overwhelmingly positive, and Snake River Roasting Co. is eager to continue its mission of fueling life’s adventures with premium coffee roasted at 6,200 feet.

Collaborations with Local Businesses

Further ingratiating Snake River Roasting Co. in the Jackson Hole community is its collaborative coffee blends with local businesses. Be on the lookout for these while visiting local shops and businesses:

MADE and Mountain Dandy: Each store has its custom blend crafted in partnership with Snake River Roasting Co. John Frechette and Christian Burch, the owners of MADE, Mursell’s and Mountain Dandy, participated in tastings to create the perfect blend for their shops, each with unique tastes and specific notes. Meanwhile, local artist Haley Leeper designed beautiful labels to capture the essence of each company. MADE’s custom Monty Blend is a medium roast featuring tasting notes of family vacations, sloshies on String Lake and artisanal jam. Mountain Dandy’s Gentleman’s Blend is a dark roast with tasting notes of Old Pass Road, navy blazer and smoked negroni.

Kemo Sabe: A new custom collaboration for Snake River Roasting Co., Kemo Sabe is a western apparel and hat shop in downtown Jackson that serves espresso-based drinks to shoppers.

Poppy: It seems especially fitting that the new collaborative workspace and social club was looking to partner with Snake River Roasting Co. on a coffee collaboration. Again, the custom collaboration is served at the workspace, while the coffee’s label features a cute, vibrant label designed by Haley Leeper.

Jackson Hole Whitewater: For the second year, Snake River Roasting Co. has partnered with the rafting company for Paddle’s Up, a summer seasonal coffee blend. For each bag sold, Snake River Roasting Co. donates $2 to support the Snake River Fund.

Sam Simma

Raised in the land of casseroles and deep fried cheese curds, Sam Simma left rural Wisconsin for the mountains of Wyoming in summer 2012. Her appetite for adventure is the only thing that rivals her passion for food. She has always used writing to document and critique her travel and dining experiences. Her warmest memories among family and friends have been associated with the food that was at the center of the occasion. From staging cooking shows with siblings to perfecting turtle brownies with her dad, today Sam enjoys connecting people over food by hosting cookie decorating parties, wine pairing nights, and Midwest-inspired potlucks. A dessert fanatic, she has come to impress friends and family with key lime pies, Oreo bon bons, and Snickers ice cream cakes that are far simpler than they could ever imagine. Shhh! Don’t tell.
