Snake River Brew Pub is back open for the winter, with new beers on tap, a new winter menu (complete with all the steadfast local favorites), and plenty of fun evening events to get everyone through from aprés to evenings!

Along with all the old favorites, the Brewpub (as it is called by locals) has an exciting new seasonal menu available this winter. Chef Ryan “Mambo” Brogan highlighting local trout from Riverence Provisions just over the pass in Idaho. The trout is paired with Vertical Harvest mizuna, fried leeks and an apple, potato and pork belly hash to bring a much welcomed winter warmness to the dish. Another new winter addition to the menu is the short ribs. Braised in red wine and tamari, paired with tempura vegetables and a roasted shallot aioli, its a great addition to the steadfast local favorites still on the menu. Stop by to try out the new additions, or indulge in a pretzel and bowl of chili, a long time town favorite!

While the Jenny Lake Lager, Pakos IPA and Snake River Pale Ale will never be leaving the draft selection at the brewpub, the changing of seasons does bring an opportunity for fun seasonal offerings such at the Tis the Saison, Speargun Coffee Milk Stout and the Sour Panda (the latest barrel aged sour). The Tis the Saison is the first beer to hit the floor from new brewer Athena, it is a traditional saison brewed with orange and has cranberry notes on the aroma to bring out the holiday feel!
The Speargun, from brewer Bryan Boynton, is made with cold brew coffee and beans sourced from local roasters such at Cowboy Coffee and Snake River Roasters. It is the most awarded beer for the brewery of the past decade and also has as much caffeine as a cup of coffee, a perfect way to get that afternoon kick!
The Sour Panda is the latest of SRB’s barrel aged sour releases, it has been aged in oak for a year with blackberries added after the final fermentation. It has great fruit notes while keeping the traditional pucker you are looking for in a sour.

Every other Tuesday night at p.m. you can find Mike “Boomer” Hansen hosting trivia on the second floor. Come test your knowledge, enjoy a pint of the winter favorite, Speargun, and be sure to arrive early as tables fill up fast for this locals favorite.
On Thursday nights there is more fun to be had with alternating darts tournaments and live music fireside by Brendan Nolan. The darts tournament is first-come, first-served, so make sure to secure your spot early!
Rounding out the winter events line up is Club-Pub: Late Night Fridays. The last Friday of every month (starting January 27th ) the pub will be hosting late night parties to help everyone start the weekend off right. Make sure you stop by!
