Celebrate Halloween, Jackson Hole Style

It may be mud season but there’s no shortage of activities on the docket for Halloween week! Grab a costume (or three) and get down for some spooky fun all weekend, whether it’s a festive afternoon at the Fairgrounds or a fun-filled evening at some of Jackson’s best late-night spots. 

Lonesome Gold at the Silver Dollar Bar

Friday, Oct. 28

7:30 to 11 p.m.

Kick off the weekend at The Wort Hotel with music from local rock and folk band, Lonesome Gold. No cover for this pre-Halloween party at the Silver Dollar Bar. 

Halloween Hustle 5K

Saturday, Oct. 29

9 a.m.

The 2nd annual Halloween Hustle is the perfect way to break up your candy-filled weekend. The $25 adult and $20 kid entry fee includes a T-shirt, buff, and post-race refreshments. Run in your favorite costume! 

Haunted Forecourt at StillWest Brewery

October 28, 29, and 31

Open Friday, Saturday, and Monday, the kid-friendly haunted forecourt will be decorated alongside spooky drink specials upstairs.

Fall Festival at the Fairgrounds

Saturday, Oct. 29

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Halloween fun will be taking place all day at the Fairgrounds on Saturday, kicking off with the dog costume parade at the rodeo arena at 10 a.m. The Little Shops of Horror Fall Festival will start at 11 a.m., with craft booths, fall foods, drinks, makeup booths, and costumes. The kid’s costume contest will take place at noon, followed by Trunk or Treat from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

Soul in the Hole at the Virginian Saloon

Saturday, Oct. 29

9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Enjoy a night at the newly renovated Virginian Saloon with sets from DJ Eric Burba to celebrate Halloween weekend. $5 cover. 

Costume Crawl at the Cowboy and Silver Dollar Bar

Saturday, Oct. 29

7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

One ticket, two parties. Get dressed up on Saturday and enjoy music at both The Cowboy and Silver Dollar Bar on Saturday. A $10 ticket gets you entry to both parties, so you can hop between country rock sets by Paul Cleckler at The Cowboy and legendary 80’s rock by 86. Expect costume contests, festive drinks and swag giveaways at both locations.

Haunting Halloween Dinner and Show at Jackson Hole Playhouse

October 15 through 31

6 p.m.

Enjoy a festive show at the Playhouse complete with Halloween tunes and characters as well as a special menu. Dinner is at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m., or catch a matinee on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Nightmare on Cache Street at Hand Fire Pizza

Saturday, Oct. 29

10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Halloween costumes and a silent disco: does it get any better than that? Boogie down on Saturday night at Hand Fire Pizza until 2 a.m. with live performances and prizes for best costumes. Tickets are on sale now for $20.

Trick or Treat on Town Square

Monday, Oct. 31

3 to 5 p.m.

A Jackson tradition, Town Square will be all decked out for Halloween this weekend, with most businesses participating with decorations, costumes and candy to give away to dressed up trick-or-treaters. 

HalloWEEN Night The Stallion at Eleanor’s 

Monday, Oct. 31

9 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Enjoy live music all night on Halloween at Eleanor’s. No cover, but costumes are mandatory. No food, only beverages.

Sghetti at the Knotty Pine

Monday, Oct. 31

9 p.m.

Sghetti will take the stage Halloween night with a 90s set at the Knotty Pine, an evening filled with dancing and costumes. Tickets are unfortunately sold out, so keep your eyes peeled for friends selling extras.
