Celebrate Fall at Dornan’s Annual Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser

What better way to celebrate these crisp fall days than with a family day at the pumpkin patch?

Dornan’s is hosting its second annual pumpkin patch on Saturday, Oct. 15, with an afternoon of pumpkins, crafts, face painting and food and beer from local sponsors to support the Moose Corner Children’s Academy. Whether you’re shopping for pumpkins to decorate at home, or looking for a cute family photo op, it’ll be a fun-filled afternoon at the Dornan’s Chuckwagon.

“The event had a really wonderful reception in 2019, so we’re excited to finally be able to bring it back,” says Andi Dornan, event organizer and Moose Corner parent. Entry to the event is free (with a suggested family donation of $5 to $10), and pumpkins will be for sale as well as food, beverages from Roadhouse and a raffle. Proceeds from the event will go entirely to supporting the Moose Corner Children’s Academy, a nonprofit preschool in Moose dedicated to providing affordable, quality and educational childcare services. It’s one of the only preschools inside a national park in the U.S., serving parents who work for the Park as well as the greater community.

“I have a four year-old and I am always looking for fall community events like this,” adds Dornan. “The pumpkin patch is a fun opportunity for families to buy pumpkins, support a great nonprofit, and enjoy a beautiful fall day outside at the base of the Tetons.”

The event is outside on the lawn, so bundle up and join in on the festivities anytime between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. this Saturday. Pumpkins are available first-come, first-serve; they sold out in 2019 so plan accordingly if you’re there to shop.
