Make at Home Bath Salts from Graze Living

Let’s take a moment to pamper our minds and bodies. A bath is a small ritual that I strive for a few times a week. It is a moment to unwind and let the day melt away – made even better with the scents of a homemade floral bath salt. While combinations are endless, a few of my favorites are invigorating grapefruit and ylang ylang, floral rosewood and a relaxing lavender and chamomile, which I am providing the instructions for here.

Combine two cups Epsom salt and one cup of Himalayan sea salt in a large ceramic bowl.

Add ten drops of lavender essential oil and 15 drops of Roman chamomile essential oil. Stir to combine with a wooden spoon.

Add dried lavender petals and chamomile flowers, which if not grown and dried, can be purchased at your local health food store. Note that adding the dried flowers makes for a bit of clean up in the tub, but worth it to me.

Fill any clean glass container with the salt mixture. Jars can be purchased in a craft store or collected at vintage and second-hand shops.

Wrap with a beautiful ribbon, a sprig of lavender and a handwritten note for a gift.
