I love lobster. But then, who doesn’t?
I’m sad to say I have only had lobster once this summer; however, the night I finally had it, I ate it four different ways! I went to the lobster dinner at Grand Targhee Resort held a couple of Fridays ago. I was tempted to do the hour-long drive when I first read the menu, and I’m really glad I did.
Between the lobster bisque; salad with a claw and fried leeks; arancini (another of my favorite dishes); and the curry with grilled lobster tail, it was enough to satiate my lobster cravings for at least a couple of weeks (or months as it may likely be).
It was the first of the themed dinners that Grand Targhee hosts that I have attended. It was a fun evening get-away, and the food was really good. Check out the mountain’s schedule of events so you don’t miss any upcoming events.
And if you haven’t gotten your fill this summer and missed the lobster evening, try out the Rendezvous Bistro’s lobster special this Saturday night. The restaurant will be continuing to fly in fresh Maine lobster for the rest of the season.
