Stillworks Gin on Sale Today

Jackson Hole’s only local distillery is releasing its gin for the first time today.

Find Jackson Hole Still Works‘ Great Grey Gin on store shelves (while it lasts) at Bin 22, The Liquor Store, Creekside Market, Liquor Down South, Jackson Whole Grocer and Westside Wine, said owner Travis Goodman. (And of course at the distillery south of town).

Their gin is the second product to hit shelves in recent years. Still Works launched with its Highwater vodka. This product is a handcrafted, ultra small batch spirit, distilled from Wyoming farmed grains.  Using a unique combination of steeping and vapor infusion, Great Grey uses a botanical blend that provides a slight twist to the typical London Dry style. The result is balanced hints of citrus, spice, and fresh floral notes in conjunction with the traditional juniper and coriander essences.

Cara Rank

Also originally from the South, Cara Rank discovered cooking was a creative outlet that helped her relax after long days writing magazine and newspaper articles during the past eight years in Jackson. Really, she just missed Southern food. A lot. During a 12-year career as a journalist, Cara has won numerous awards for her work and has written about everything from rodeo queens to Dolly Parton tomatoes. She spends her weekends making jars of pickles and jam and amazing dinners for friends. She loves shishito peppers, Chicago-style hot dogs and elderflower-spiked cocktails.
