Spur Launches Catering Business

One of Jackson Hole’s favorite restaurants has launched a catering business for large-scale events to intimate dinners. Spur Restaurant and Bar, in Teton Mountain Lodge, debuted its new catering company this summer with Executive Chef Kevin Humphreys.

Spur Catering brings contemporary and authentic cuisine to venues throughout Jackson Hole and beyond. In its first season, the catering company worked events such as the annual awards banquet at the Murie Center Ranch honoring conservationist and actor, Harrison Ford. Other functions catered by the Spur Catering team this summer include the annual Trout Unlimited Banquet, the American Rivers fundraiser, and several destination weddings in Jackson Hole. Spur’s beloved buffalo braised short ribs are on the menu of their new catering company.

In addition to large upscale events, Spur Catering also specializes in intimate private dinners and is currently planning several holiday parties for Jackson area businesses. The team customizes menus for each event, and incorporates vegan, gluten free, and seasonal organic ingredients into the dishes. They services extend beyond catering and include assistance with specialty orders, room décor, and coordination with wedding vendors, such as photographers, florists, and musicians.

Spur Catering also partners with Hotel Terra and Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa to offer a complete event package including lodging, catering services and coordination of off-site activities. Other venues they work with include include the Jackson Hole Winery, Jackson’s Center for the Arts, Snake River Ranch and locations in Grand Teton National Park and Teton Village.
