As a supporter of Vertical Harvests and local nonprofits, Pizzaria Caldera is hosting a fundraiser on May 8 for Hearts of Glass. The local restaurant is offering this special event as the first in an effort to have guest chef and special dinner fundraisers several times a year.
Pizzeria Caldera wants to help local nonprofits’ fundraising efforts by allowing the fundraisers a few times a year. This is the first, and owners Miga Rossetti and Chris Hansen are happy to help the organization out.
Rossetti is the guest chef at this first dinner, and she encourages other chefs to donate their skills for future events. The menu for Monday night’s dinner is as follows:
Course 1:Spring harvest flat bread and stuffed mushrooms, served family style
Course 2: Vertical Harvest butter lettuce, micro greens and herb vinaigrette salad
Course 3: Bucatini all’Amatriciana (made by Mark Sullivan, Nona Yehia’s husband) or a veggie pasta option
Course 4: Molasses cookie ice cream sandwich
Jackson Hole Stillworks will be mixing cocktails on sight, and one free drink per attendee is included in the $55 ticket price. Sweet Cheeks Meats, The Liquor Store and Persephone Bakery are all also contributing to the evening. The event will begin around 6 p.m. with appetizers starting at 6:30 p.m. For tickets, click here.
