Krazy Couponing

The Krazy Coupon Lady (KCL) is a place where savvy women (and secure men) go to find ways to save huge sums of cash (which you can then turn around and spend on gear)! I was enticed by this tagline, hoping I fit into the category of savvy women and began to browse this site. For all the newbies out there, these savvy young moms created KCL to help consumers collect and redeem coupons with precision.

While “coupon virgins” may be overwhelmed at first glance, no need to worry – there is an entire section dedicated to “beginners.” Every week they scout your favorite local and national grocery ads for krazy bargains. Then they match these deals with coupons, “overlapping promotions and rebates until you’re saving way over 50 percent, getting things for free and sometimes even getting paid to shop!”

For an example of Albertson’s 3 Day Super Coupon Sale on KCL:

  • Kraft Macaroni & Cheese $0.69, Limit 4
  • Tostitos Salsa, Artisan or Tortilla Chips, $2.00
  • Lean Cuisine Casual Cuisine, Simple Favorites, Spa, Comfort, Cafe Cuisine or Culinary Collection $1.88,  Limit 10

These deals are not too shabby! You can stick to those New Year’s resolution budgets and maybe even shed a few holiday pounds with the Lean Cuisines.

I was interested in the “Totally Free Stuff” link, which offered $250 in free groceries. I clicked on the “Why Pay for Food” link and began the process of filling out the survey to earn my gift card. It was fairly tedious, and now I have to wait for the card to arrive in the mail (fingers crossed), but for 15 minutes of my time, I will happily take $250 worth of free groceries. Give it a try today, if you’ve got 15 minutes to spare.

As the KCL moms say: “Get your coupon swagger on and get ready to hit the aisles.”
