Kombucha Craze Hits the Taps at Cowboy Coffee

A new libation is flowing from the tap system at Cowboy Coffee Co. off Town Square. By popular demand, the folks at Cowboy Coffee are giving the people of Jackson what they want: local kombucha. With their new draft system, Cowboy Coffee is able to offer rotating flavors of local kombucha in addition to their housemade nitro cold brew and regular cold brew coffee varieties.cowboy coffee kombucha

Why add kombucha to the Cowboy Coffee repertoire? Because it’s what the people crave. The employees at Cowboy Coffee have long encouraged the addition of kombucha to the menu, and some are even home brewers of kombucha. Kombucha connoisseurs, if you will. Previously, it was hard to source, but local brewers of the golden nectar: Ascent Kombucha and Teatonic Kombucha, put an end to that debacle!

The kombucha taps at Cowboy Coffee will rotate through flavors from both throughout the summer. Currently, you’ll find Ascent Kombucha’s Pina Glow, with the Summer-tini up next. After that, Teatonic will take over with their Holy Mint Mate. This variety, made from all organic green tea, holy basil, yerba mate, spearmint and lemongrass is a sort of healthy probiotic energy drink.cowboy coffee

With nicer weather in the forecast, you’ll soon be able to escape the lines of this popular hot spot with their grab and go quick service counter street side.
