Healthy Being Jalapeño Margarita

Happy summer! (Eye roll) Yes, the weather this past week, or two, has been pretty uninspiring. However, there is sunshine in our future, and what better way to celebrate than with spicy margaritas!

A Jackson staple, the spicy marg has been attempted by almost every restaurant in town. Now, we all have our own favorites whether it be from Calico, Spur or Pica’s, but have you ever tried making your own? It’s quite simple. And, with the help from Healthy Being Juicery, you can make a cocktail that rivals even the local’s favorite.

Healthy Being Cafe & Juicery is a nutritionally crafted, organic, cold-pressed juice company in the heart of Jackson, Wyoming, driven by a deep passion for local sustainability, health and wellness. Their juices are made with the cleanest ingredients available, providing the perfect base for a refreshing and health benefiting margarita.

When crafting this margarita, you can really use any green juice, however, my favorite is the Sweet Clean juice. The refreshing combination of kale, romaine, cucumber, parsley, celery and lemon mix perfectly with a little tequila. Also, green juice such as the Sweet Clean have extraordinary health benefits. Fresh green juice reduces inflammation in the body, improves digestive health and fills your body with plant nutrients and chlorophyll, aka liquid sunshine.

Honestly, I really can’t think of anything I’d like to sip on more than a spicy, nutritious and tequila-spiked margarita, complete with a Himalayan pink salt rim. See below for the thirst-quenching recipe!
