Your Guide to Off-Season Specials

The lifts have stopped running. The tourists have left town. And us locals have the restaurants to ourselves. And that means one thing: off-season specials. Dishing is keeping a running list of deals being offered through April and May, so please keep us updated.

 

 

Here’s what we have so far:

Fine Dining Group is bringing back its popular fundraiser for valley nonprofits. Starting today, buy one entree, get the second for $2 at at Q Roadhouse, Il Villaggio Osteria and Rendezvous Bistro. That $2 will then be donated to a different nonprofit each week. The Kitchen is offering an $11 tasting menu, with $1 per customer going toward the nonprofit of the week. In the fall, Fine Dining raised more than $7,000 with the off-season deal.

Cafe Genevieve is offering two-for-one entrees through May. Happy Hour will run from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday with $3 bottled beers, $5 specialty cocktails and $5 glasses of wine.

When it reopens April 13, Trio is bringing back its “spin to win.” The test-your-luck, “Wheel of Fortune” game offers patrons a chance win a variety of free items from this spinning wheel of discounts. There’s 2-for-1 entrees, free desserts and 10 or 20 percent off your bill, among others.

Nani’s spring special, celebrating 22 years in business: $22 for any salad, plus any pasta and your choice of glass wine or any dessert. Through May 24 when seated by 8 p.m.

Pizzeria Caldera is continuing their 2-fer Tuesdays through the off-season. Get two 12-inch pies for the price of one all day every Tuesday.

Pinky G’s will remain open every day for lunch and dinner. Off-season specials include a $7 lunch with a slice, salad and small soda from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A $5 lunch option gets you a slice and a PBR Tall Boy or Ranier beer. Happy hour from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (yowza!) includes two-for-one well drinks and $2 PBR Tall Boys or Ranier beers. The happy hour pricing will be extended during the NHL playoffs for anyone wearing team jerseys.

The Silver Dollar Bar and Grill at the Wort Hotel is offering two-for-one dinner entrees from the grill menu from 5:50 to 9 p.m. in the bar or restaurant and half-off premium wines by the glass if seated in the Grill before 7 p.m.

Also at the Wort, Dinner and a Movie at is back. This locals-only special is a great way to relax and enjoy the off-season. Enjoy dinner for two in the Silver Dollar Grill. Savor  a truly unique dining experience. Follow dinner with a movie at your choice of theaters in town and then retreat to the AAA Four Diamond Wort Hotel. This deal includes a one night stay for two in a Deluxe Room, dinner for two in The Silver Dollar Grill, two tickets to any movie theater in town andd 15% off in the Silver Dollar Mercantile. The Wort doesn’t stop there.  They brought back the popular Flip You for Lunch deal, where you try your luck by throwing in a buck and flipping a Silver Dollar for the chance to get your lunch entrees on the house. Take a chance Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. You win, they buy.

Nikai‘s $6 rolls are back! Cruise on in for your fill of succulent sushi at an easy-on-the-wallet price.

Pinky G‘s is serving up $7 lunches (tax is always included here). This includes choices from 4 slices, 3 salads, and choice of small drink from all coke products. This offer will last until May 24. So warm up and have some good ol’ comfort food with your friends at Pinky G’s.
