Check out JHMR’s New General Store

Going on a hike up the tram and need a snack to sustain you? Sitting on the lawn to enjoy the free outdoor music this Sunday and want a cold bottle of white wine?  Or, simply want a coffee when you arrive to Teton Village? There is a new spot perfect to find what you need: the General Store.

Located between Nick Wilson’s and the gondola, the store offers gourmet food items, snacks, coffee, ice cream and alcohol.  Open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. it offers a convenient spot to fill many needs.

“The General Store will be a great additional service for the summer and winter guests in Teton Village,” said Jay Brewer, dining director.  “There is something for everyone,  with locally made ice cream treats for the kids and beer, wine and liquor for the adults.  There are lots of great snack and souvenir options, so stop by before a picnic, a hike, or the Concert on the Commons.”

Some of the store’s offerings include snacks from Kashi, Late July and Annie’s, seven flavors of Reed’s Ice Cream from Idaho Falls with toppings for sundaes and milkshakes.  An espresso machine churning out coffee drinks with Great Northern Jackson Hole blend and there is a great selection of beer, wine and alcohol.

Even better for locals? Residents get 10% off every purchase in the store.

This week in Teton Village, there are many good reasons to pay the store a visit.  Friday Night Bikes starts tonight offering discounted tickets to the bike park and great deals at the taco truck. The first Sunday Concert on the Commons also starts this week, featuring MC Yogi starting at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
