Hot day? Cold drink!

The Liquor Store's frozen drinks

Oh how I love a cold drink on a hot summer day. I used to just dream of a frozen hurricane by the pool in Vegas while I sipped a beer by the river in Jackson. No longer is this fantasy a pipe dream.

While it may not be served poolside, The Liquor Store next to Albertsons offers a frozen drink machine with three flavor options daily.

Ranging from a strawberry milkshake daiquiri to peach ice cream and more standard flavors such as margarita and lemonade, the spiked frozen drinks will hit the spot on a hot day. Offered in two sizes (16 ounce for $6.99 or 24 ounces for $11.99). The flavors options change almost daily and you can also get discounted and frozen versions of past offerings.

An added bonus: They are all natural with no preservatives and no pasteurization.

Also look for them at this summer’s free concert series at Snow King. They have a portable blender system.
