Fine Dining Restaurant Group Off-Season Nonprofits


Fall off-season, tourists flee, the weather takes a turn and restaurants honor their community by offering stupendous deals all around town. Fine Dining, a local restaurant group, not only offers a deal to benefits its customers, but also uses its fall special to benefit nonprofits all around town. Starting October 28, and ending November 24, Fine Dining restaurants (Rendezvous Bistro, II Vilaggio Osteria, The Kitchen, Bin22, Roadhouse Pub & Eatery) will be offering buy one entrée, get the second one for $2, and the $2 will be donated to a different local nonprofit each week.

What nonprofits will you be supporting? Here we’ve got all you need to know, so you can support your favorite, or, as I would recommend, support them all.

St. John’s Hospital Foundation Women’s Health Care Fund

Week 1 (Oct 28-Nov 3): St. John’s Hospital Foundation Women’s Health Care Fund

Mission: To secure philanthropic support to advance the mission and strategic objectives of St. John’s Medical Center, including patient-centered care, clinical excellence and community wellness. Your donation will help everything from; purchasing needed medical equipment, providing scholarships and patient funds, and helping provide funding for hospital initiatives. It is also their 20th anniversary this year!

Teton Valley Community Recycling

Week 2 (Nov 4-10): Teton Valley Community Recycling

Mission: To develop ethical waste reduction solutions that are financially and environmentally sound for our community. They look to improve waste management in Teton Valley, help provide education and outreach opportunities, and collaborate with businesses to help them produce less waste.

Jackson Hole Kayak Club

Week 3 (Nov 11-17): Jackson Hole Kayak Club

Mission: “Since 1996, the Jackson Hole Kayak Club has been providing river paddling opportunities to Jackson’s youth. Each year, athletes ages 8-18 are experiencing the beauty and excitement of our local waterways through our programs. While focusing on fun and safety, we teach young people how to explore the river environment building skills and confidence to last a lifetime!” The Jackson Hole Kayak Club hosts an after-school paddling program for almost 80 local kids ages 8-18, the money goes to support purchasing of gear and scholarships for students who can’t afford the program.

Yellowstone- Teton Clean Cities

Week 4 (Nov 18-24): Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities

Mission: YTCC’s mission is to displace the use of petroleum in the regional transportation sector, improve air quality through reduced harmful exhaust emissions, and increase energy security and sustainability. This is accomplished primarily through the promotion of alternative fuels and vehicles, integrated transportation systems, and conservation strategies and technologies that benefit the public interest by reducing energy consumption, particularly of petroleum-based fuels. YTCC helps promote the use of alternative fuel (biodiesel and electricity), connects local businesses and people with funding necessary to create opportunities for the use of alternative fuels, produce the Jackson Hole Greenhouse Gas Report and provide outreach and workshops both for businesses and for the general public.

Bin22: Open daily until 10 p.m.; special only during lunch

Bar Enoteca: Only open for breakfast during the off-season; no special

Il Villaggio Osteria: Open for lunch at 11:30 a.m.; dinner at 5 p.m.; special valid only during dinner

Rendezvous Bistro: Open Tuesday-Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

The Kitchen: Open Thursday-Monday at 5 p.m.

Roadhouse Pub & Eatery: Open for lunch and dinner at 11:30 a.m., Monday-Saturday (11 a.m. on Sunday); special during dinner only

With a restaurant owner as a father, she spent her childhood years exploring the ins and outs of the food and beverage industry. Cora left the mountains to attend Santa Clara University in California and double majored in communications and sustainability. With a deep passion for travel, Cora spent her months after college traveling the world and strengthening her love for cooking, food, and a glass of red wine.
