Tickets for Alex Honnold’s talk have all been claimed, join the waitlist here, or plan to watch it on Facebook Live.

Alex takes us around the world with him, answering the questions “Are you afraid of dying?” and “Why do you do this?” He lets us in on personal insights and lessons he’s learned navigating his extraordinary journey that’s led to a free solo ascent of El Capitan in Yosemite, California.

BIO
Nicknamed Alex “No Big Deal” Honnold for his humble attitude toward extreme risk, his free-solo ascents of America’s biggest cliffs have made him one of the most recognized climbers in the world. His free-solo of El Capitan’s “Freerider” route, has been hailed as one of the greatest sporting achievements of our time. Whether climbing with a rope or without, Alex believes climbing is a fantastic vehicle for adventure, an opportunity to seek out those highest moments with uncertain outcomes in which you’re forced to push through to survive.
