E.Leaven Reopens with a New Look, Same Favorites

Due to some unfortunate flooding from frozen pipes this winter, E.Leaven Food Company, a Center Street staple, was forced to close its doors. As of this past weekend, we are thrilled to see them reopen, with some modifications, but the retention of our menu favorites.

“We really tried to take this forced time to think about all the positive changes we wanted to make moving forward, but never had the time to do,” says owner Molly Frobouck. The bright new space boasts clean lines and a casual dining bar with multiple plugins for your devices. Katie Confer of thatgirlkatie.com and Elizabeth Dorros assisted with the redesign, which resulted in new artwork by Danny Shervin that gives the space a fun and lively feel. eleaven

Frobouck says, “they wanted to create a warm and inviting family-friendly space for people to enjoy.” Not only did they accomplish that, they paid tribute to the national parks with a mural designed by Colleen O’Conner, of Minnesota. The artwork was painted locally by Katie Confer and E.Leaven employee Dora Didukh, but O’Conner designed the piece, incorporating the Teton Range and a beloved Wyoming bison.

The new look wouldn’t be complete without a website redesign, which allows for online ordering. To increase the convenience of these orders, there is a dedicated pick-up location near the entrance for locals. In the next few weeks, the E.Leaven app will make smart phone ordering even easier. For now, the online ordering is live, with the option for pick-up or delivery around the town square. Enjoy 20 percent off your first online order.eleaven

Fear not, you can still expect generous portions and longstanding favorites like the breakfast burrito, salmon salad, French dip sandwich, avocado salad and more. But we encourage you to venture into new territory and try some of the delicious new options!

New breakfast items

One of the immediate new favorites is the breakfast bowl, which includes scrambled eggs, quinoa, sauteed tomato and kale, avocado and chicken apple sausage. A new avocado toast is topped with smoked salmon, goat cheese, red onion, tomato and capers. There is an oatmeal bowl with blueberries, strawberries, banana, granola and toasted coconut, or chorizo breakfast tacos with scrambled eggs, chorizo, feta, tomato and avocado.eleaven

New lunch items

Suckers for E.Leaven’s salads, we can’t get enough of the new steak salad with mixed greens, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, grilled asparagus, walnuts and red onion. There’s a mixed berry salad as well, with mixed greens, blueberries, strawberries, sliced almonds, avocado, red onion and feta with a lemon poppy seed dressing. On the sandwich list, there’s a new grilled chicken sandwich with salsa aioli, smoked applewood bacon, provolone cheese and avocado, or try the Fire in the Hole Buffalo Burger with jalapenos, bacon and pepperjack cheese.

“E.leaven is still your family-friendly, affordable spot for breakfast and lunch, with a fresh new modern feel.  It was extremely emotional to walk in Sunday morning and see our long-time local customers eating their favorite dishes and enjoying our new space.” ~Molly Frobouck, owner

Both the E.Leaven and Dishing team are thrilled to see them back open. Through September, stop in for breakfast, lunch or take out from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Their catering services continue to be available for your breakfast, lunch or dinner needs.

Sam Simma

Raised in the land of casseroles and deep fried cheese curds, Sam Simma left rural Wisconsin for the mountains of Wyoming in summer 2012. Her appetite for adventure is the only thing that rivals her passion for food. She has always used writing to document and critique her travel and dining experiences. Her warmest memories among family and friends have been associated with the food that was at the center of the occasion. From staging cooking shows with siblings to perfecting turtle brownies with her dad, today Sam enjoys connecting people over food by hosting cookie decorating parties, wine pairing nights, and Midwest-inspired potlucks. A dessert fanatic, she has come to impress friends and family with key lime pies, Oreo bon bons, and Snickers ice cream cakes that are far simpler than they could ever imagine. Shhh! Don’t tell.
