A passion born of artistic creativity has conceived a love that will never stop seeking a greater result. A love that invites others to share in his sweet discoveries. Driven by this love, Chef Oscar Ortega has become one of the world’s greatest chocolatiers. For Chef Ortega, being a master chocolatier is not an occupation; it’s a quest. A continual search for the perfect blend of art and flavor.
Trio is a downtown favorite. The atmosphere is hip, lively and inviting, like dining in a corner bistro in any big city. And the food? Some of the best in Jackson. Start dinner with a specialty cocktail, like the blood orange margarita. Then prepare to be impressed by chefs/owners Will Bradof and Paul Wireman, who pack the restaurant nightly with crowds seeking innovative dishes like the prosciutto and watermelon salad. The well-edited wine selection shows that Bradof and Wireman are just as good with their pairings as they are with their food. Reservations are a must, but if you find yourself without one, try to score a seat at the bar, a favorite spot for splitting a pizza, arugula salad and a bottle of Spanish red wine. There, you’re close enough to watch the action in the open kitchen.

All cocktails are fashioned with fresh, hand made ingredients with a rotating seasonal menu of draft beer and selected wines.

Entering its 30th year of business in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the New York City Sub Shop, owned and operated by Bruce Tlougan, has consistently served delicious sandwiches since its founding in 1985. Originally located on Glenwood Street, in a small 110 square foot storefront, this sub shop could only fit three customers inside at a time. You frequently had to stand outside (even in a snowstorm!) to get your sub passed through a small pick-up window. It was strictly a take-out business. Bruce’s mission was to deliver to his customers a top quality product and quick service for an affordable price. In 2000, the sub shop moved down the road to 20 North Jackson Street, in the former Daylight Donuts building. This present location offers plenty of indoor seating and easy parking. Over the years, artist Greta Gretzinger has painted murals on every square inch of wall space, resulting in a colorful and whimsical journey of the sub shop over 30+ years. Bruce’s hard work and simple design led to a successful foundation to build upon as he expanded his horizons further west to Oregon.
