If you are craving authentic Philadelphia cuisine, this is the place. The pizza is the same quality you will find in the “Pizza Belt” and should be on your must-order list. It is crispy, served on homemade dough and topped with freshly shredded mozzarella and other great options. The cheesesteaks are served on Amoroso’s bread straight from Philly; no need to travel 2,400 miles to the City of Brotherly Love. Try the traditional cheesesteak, served with fried onions, or the Nor’easter, with bacon, onions, cheese, mayo and pickles. Sit back with friends and family while watching your favorite sports and take advantage of the full bar stocked with local craft beers, wine and cocktails. Other food options include hoagies, burgers, wings, salads and Philly soft pretzels. Happy hour is Monday-Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. Call for fast takeout orders. Packaged beer and liquor is available.

Eleanor’s has all the perks of fine dining, minus the dress code. By serving rich, saucy dishes in a warm and friendly setting, this joint lives up to its reputation. And on top of one of the most creative menus in town, Eleanor’s is a primo brunch spot on Sunday afternoons. Plus, its bar alone is an attraction, thanks to reasonably priced drinks and a loyal crowd, a wine list that is second to none and a dedication to service that stems directly from its owners.

This little place isn’t such a best-kept secret anymore, as more locals and visitors alike are discovering the down home goodness within. But longtime regulars as well as newcomers still fill the tables nightly. This small restaurant has seen a few incarnations over the years, but it has succeeded in making it one of the most charming and consistently award-winning and rewarding dining experiences in town.

The Bird is a laid back bar and restaurant with a staff of humans who really and truly care about you having a good time. If something with your food, drink or service is not just right, let us know and we’ll do everything we can to make it so. Our regulars know this, so if you’re new here give us a chance.
But if you’re a fun-sucker*: uptight, unhappy or demanding, maybe try somewhere else that’s a little more geared to your sort. It took years, but we seem to have finally weeded out most of these fun-sucking folks; you know, those that can’t even have a good time on vacation? In their place we have managed to attract a crowd of solid, loyal patrons.
While you are here just cut loose*, get raucous, tell that joke you’re not sure is appropriate, stay late and have that one drink too many and we’ll drive you home. Do it, especially if you are only passing through, because you happen to be sitting in the one place in Jackson where just about anything goes*.

Hole Bowl is more than just a space to play. Stop in for a casual midday lunch or a cocktail and dinner with friends at the full bar. With a curated menu of classically made, from-scratch American fare, you can’t go wrong. Cast aside any ideas of typical bowling alley fare. Chef Jason Mitchell prepares delicious cuisine (at a good value, too!). The kids’ menu offers $6 entrées with two sides. For adults, the cocktail program is equally impressive, with everything from specialty drinks to pitchers of beer. Of course, you probably won’t be able to leave without playing just a little. Spend the day playing a variety of games, whether you prefer bowling, arcade games, billiards, ping-pong or darts. With Hole Bowl’s 12 large flat-screen TVs, you can always catch the game. Afterward, lounge on the comfy couches and catch up with friends.

The Rose is a destination, learned of our collective past, here in the present, with an eye toward our evolving future. Initially founded as a cocktail bar at the hands of Dave Kaplan and Alex Day, of Proprietor’s LLC (Death & Co., The Walker Inn) we focus on the nuance and detail of each drink. All cocktails are fashioned with fresh, hand made ingredients with a rotating seasonal menu of draft beer and selected wines.

January 2018 brought the addition of a food experience back to The Rose with Late Night Eats. An eclectic fast casual menu served from 8 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. Tuesday – Saturday with grab and go sandwiches available on evenings with entertainment. Curated with locally sourced ingredients by Chef Tim Conan formerly of Sidecar (Brooklyn, NY) and Snake River Grill (Jackson, WY). The menu is delicious, affordable and low maintenance, because good food is good food no matter what time you eat it.
