Custom Cutting Boards

A sample of Teton Cutting Boards made to help promote Dishing

Besides the knife, a cutting board is probably the most used kitchen tool. And a beautiful cutting board often ends up sitting out on people’s counters all the time.

So, a custom cutting board engraved with your family name or a logo would make it look even more special. At Dishing, we’re going to use  Teton Cutting Boards to promote our website (see below for our giveaway).

Business owner Jeff Zelazoski said that he has produced custom cutting boards for events such as weddings, corporate events and to promote businesses such as the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The boards come in darker beech wood option or a lighter colored maple.  Zelazoski, who’s family has been working in the wood business since 1924, said that “woodworking is in my blood.”

He can engrave almost any logo or image into the high-end wood boards and cut them into any shape as well. This summer he has created boards sold in Grand Teton National Park that make great gifts and keepsakes. Starting at only $15 a board, these boards make great custom give-aways.

In 2007,  Zelazoski and his wife, Kelsey, were at home and looked at one of their plain cutting boards and thought visitors to Jackson Hole may be interested in a souvenir for their counter to help them remember their visit.

“We decided on a few designs that could be added to the boards that are familiar to the area,” he said. “So we started putting boards together to see where it would take us.”

We were approved for a license with the University of Wyoming to use the buckin’ horse and rider logo and then added a board with a moose. Then, they started with some local craft shows, which drew interest from several retail stores and gift shops. They have since progressed to restaurants, guest ranches and hunting shows known across the world. They have also been requested for customized company, Christmas and wedding gifts. They even had a wedding proposal with “Will You Marry Me” engraved on the board for a huge surprise at a romantic dinner.

“Woodworking has been in the family since the 1920s, and Teton Cutting Boards has been a great fit to continue this tradition,” Zelazoski said.  “We take pride in providing a high quality product that is 100 percent”
