Cheers to 2017 Gift Card Giveaway

‘Tis the season of giving, and the Dishing team would like to give our loyal followers the chance to win a $100 gift card to The Rose. The Pink Garter Theater has a stellar lineup of shows this winter, including New Year’s Eve with The Crystal Meth; Big Wild on Feb. 3; the Motet Feb. 23 and 24, and so much more. This gift card won’t cover your show tickets, but it will lighten the load on your bar tab. rose giveawayThis year was a big one in Jackson Hole, with a major power outage, spring flooding and a total solar eclipse. As the winter season ramps up, we look forward to what 2018 has in store for our valley. Rest assured, our team will continue to be your first stop source for all things food in the new year.

To enter the contest, we want you to show us what you’re toasting to in 2018. It could be things to come, or something you appreciate about 2017. From now until midnight on New Year’s Eve, post a Jackson-based photo to Instagram with a caption indicating what you’ll be toasting to as you close out 2017. Then, to be entered to win, you must include the hashtag #dishingjh in your photo’s caption, AND become a follower of the DishingJH Instagram page.

The winner will be chosen, at random, from the qualified applicants Jan. 1. From all of us at Dishing: cheers to our 2017 following. Happy posting!

Sam Simma

Raised in the land of casseroles and deep fried cheese curds, Sam Simma left rural Wisconsin for the mountains of Wyoming in summer 2012. Her appetite for adventure is the only thing that rivals her passion for food. She has always used writing to document and critique her travel and dining experiences. Her warmest memories among family and friends have been associated with the food that was at the center of the occasion. From staging cooking shows with siblings to perfecting turtle brownies with her dad, today Sam enjoys connecting people over food by hosting cookie decorating parties, wine pairing nights, and Midwest-inspired potlucks. A dessert fanatic, she has come to impress friends and family with key lime pies, Oreo bon bons, and Snickers ice cream cakes that are far simpler than they could ever imagine. Shhh! Don’t tell.
