The wait is over (literally). The new location of Lotus Organic Restaurant Bar & Bakery is up and running, and in addition to the beautiful makeover it has a lot to offer, including more than double the seats. So don’t wait to go, even though there probably won’t be a wait when you get there!
But additional seating makes just the first of the changes. Lotus is open from 8 a.m. until at least 9 p.m. every day, and you can now make a reservation for dinner so you ensure that there is a table available.
Want something on the go? Grab a cold pressed juice (offered on tap, and soon in bottles, too), a coffee drink or a snack or meal on-the-go from the convenient takeout area in front. Whether it’s a fresh snack or a creative coffee drink, you can pick it up easily without having to wait.
But if you want to dine for breakfast, lunch or dinner, relax at the bar or in a booth table. Upstairs you will find more seating with an additional bar area. Since the bar areas are a big addition, so are the new cocktails (created by Amrita), which include all the integrity of the concept of the restaurant serving fresh pressed, organic and natural ingredients. Check them out at happy hour, served everyday between 4-6 p.m. when all drinks are half off. There is also a new shareable and menu added, so look for deals on select food items then, too.
While the breakfast and lunch menu have stayed the same (barring one addition to the bowls), the dinner menu offers more well-rounded options, said owner Amy Young. She hired (for the first time since she started the business) an executive chef (Cassidy Hudson) who has created some new options for dinner such as tenderloin medallions and an Asian glass dish with sweet potato noodles and a basil/lemongrass sauce.
