While every bar in town has its own take on the traditional margarita, the Silver Dollar Bar’s marg should be on the list of those to try. No one really knows the story behind it, only that it’s a potent mix of top shelf liquor sure to leave satisfied. And if you ask any server what to order, they’ll tell you the signature drink is the bartender’s marg.

The Details:

A Bartender’s Margarita


  • 1 3/4 oz Cuervo Gold Tequila
  • 1/2 oz Patrón Citronge
  • 4 oz Margarita mix
  • 1/2 oz Float of Grand Marnier


  • Salt the rim of a 16-oz. glass and fill with ice. Add ingredients and top with a squeeze of fresh lime.
