Apres of the Week: Catching a Coffee Buzz

Coffee art at Persephone

For better or worse, the most popular beverage of choice for apres revelers comes in 16-ounce cans sporting either a large R or PBR on the side. While catching a beer buzz when your done skiing is fine, it often leads to the inevitable tiredness that comes from a long day on the slopes coupled with a few watered down beers, not a great combo when you have a night shift or are looking to avoid the couch. Don’t worry, there are plenty of energizing apres option that will keep you on your feet. Wether its stopping in for a cup of joe before the working the dinner rush, brewing something for your thermos to be enjoyed on the hill, or winding down with a coffee spiked cocktail at a swanky bar, we’ve got you covered. The Benefits of Coffee are undeniable, so it’s no surprise that it is one of the most popular beverages.

Like any self respecting food-centric town, Jackson has its fair share of great coffee shops open throughout the day to grab a quick cup after hitting the slopes. Persephone Bakery is any instagramers dream. Boasting a thoughtfully designed interior space, a cozy patio, gourmet food, and of course, great coffee.
