Après This Week: Bar Enoteca

If you haven’t been to Teton Village’s newest après spot, then it’s time to check out Bar Enoteca. On Saturday, the restaurant is adding après and dinner to its lineup that already includes breakfast and lunch.

Located in Hotel Terra, next to sister restaurant Il Villaggio Osteria, Enoteca brings an extensive selection of wine, a full bar and Mediterranean-style small plates. Favorites from our recent tasting there include the Brussels salad with sardine vinaigrette (try it, you’ll love it!) and the assorted fettunta, which are like little tartines with a European flair. Don’t miss the daily crudo plates, either.

Enoteca boasts an convenient ski-in, ski-out location, so it is easy to pop by for a chorizo breakfast buritto before tram laps, or linger over their lunch and après menus and share a meal with a group.Bar Enoteca

Think of this as your Bin 22 at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (fittingly, Enoteca is also brought to you by the same company, Fine Dining Restaurant Group).

Enoteca’s long bar and spacious floor plan exposes the open kitchen, where guests may watch as dishes are plated before making their way to the white marbled tables. Large picture windows gaze to the mountains outside, while interior windowed walls showcase some of the restaurant’s favorite bottles of wine.

Cara Rank

Also originally from the South, Cara Rank discovered cooking was a creative outlet that helped her relax after long days writing magazine and newspaper articles during the past eight years in Jackson. Really, she just missed Southern food. A lot. During a 12-year career as a journalist, Cara has won numerous awards for her work and has written about everything from rodeo queens to Dolly Parton tomatoes. She spends her weekends making jars of pickles and jam and amazing dinners for friends. She loves shishito peppers, Chicago-style hot dogs and elderflower-spiked cocktails.
