Having lunch up at the Amangani on its outdoor deck, with perfect views, is an incredible way to spend an afternoon. Getting a drink to go along with it makes the experience even better. It was a Friday, mind you! While hearing about the new summer menus at the grill, which offers some lighter options this season, I had to try the Sparkling Lemon Rhubarb. The resort shared with us its recipe for making rhubarb liquor for the current issue and it’s great, even on its own, but in this refreshing sparkling cocktail, even better.

Amangani’s Sparkling Lemon Rhubarb Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 ounce rhubarb liquor
- 1 ounce Ketel One Citroen
- 1 ounce cranberry juice
- ½ ounce sweet and sour
- Sparkling wine
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except sparkling wine a shaker.
- Shake vigorously over ice.
- Strain over fresh ice in rocks glass.
- Top with sparkling wine.
